This species is found in Laos and Vietnam. It is a warm growing
species that has a "fascinating" flower that moves and wiggles in the

Bulbophyllum elassoglossum 'Jo's' Gift CBR/AOS
This miniature, temperature tolerant, unifoliate epiphyte comes
from the Philippines . Culturally it needs plenty of moisture, shade
and an open media and blooms in the fall carrying a large flower just beyond
the leaf. The flowers are golden-yellow with reddish-purple spots and
blotches against white. The flowers open at sunrise and close at sunset for
days on end. Blooming size plants in 4 inch baskets, $25.

Bulbophyllum fraudolentum
Endemic to Papua and New Guinea as a unifoliate epiphyte with a
creeping, branching rhizome that carries four angled pseudobulbs with a
single, apical leaf that blooms on a wiry, single flowered inflorescence.
This species is temperature tolerant and grows with shade, ample water and
good air circulation.
