Found in the Baja region of Brazil. Grow warm and bright to produce flowers of very hard substance. In 4 inch baskets, $25.

Cattleya amethystoglossa ('H&R Supreme" AM/AOS x 'Orchidglade' AM/AOS)
This large sized Cattleya species is found in Bahia, Minas Gerais and Pernambuco states of Brazil.  It is an epiphyte at that will tolerate a wide range of temperatures.  This species needs ample light, water and fertilizer while growing and a definite rest when in dormancy.  Flowers are pleasantly fragrant.  Near blooming size (1-2 yrs to bloom)  plant in 5 inch pot, $75.

Cattleya gaskelliana 'Superior' x self
Native to:
Columbia, Venezuela. Cattleya gaskelliana is found growing on trees or rocks between 2,300 to 3,300 feet (750 and 1000 meters) in elevation in the Eastern Coastal Mountain Range, the Cordillera de la Costa in Columbia. It has been found in three Venezuelan provinces, northeastern Anzuategui, southern Sucre, and northern Monagas. Cattleya gaskelliana grows in tropical, humid cloud forests and somewhat drier areas where it grows on rocks in nearly full sun. Plant in 4 inch pot, $25.

Cattleya intermedia var. aquinii x self
The variety aquinii is a splash petal and the source of this characteristic in many hybrids. In 4 inch baskets, $25.

Cattleya jenmanii 'Dunsterville' x self
Light to medium to dark lavender flowers on what is described as a dwarf pseudobulb cattleya. Clone is named after the Venezuelan orchidist G.C.K. Dunsterville.  In 4 inch pot, $25.

Cattleya jenmanii var. semi-alba x self
A nice color variety of this species from the Guayana region of Venezuela. it is growing in dense jungles  at 300 to 600 meters in elevation. Generally, they prefer growing near rivers and streams. . White sepals and petals with a large dark rose colored frilled lip, with yellow in the interior. Plant in 4.5 inch pot, $25.

Cattleya labiata
Native to Brazil it can be found in mountain ranges in the northeastern part of the country at elevations above 500 meters. They usually grow on trees but can be found on rocks, too.

Cattleya luteola
Species from Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, and Bolivia. Miniature plants can grow warm to intermediate and need good light. Generally blooms late summer to fall This species needs a distinct winter rest with less water and fertilizer. Mist enough to keep the plant from shriveling. Blooming size plant mounted, $22.

Cattleya maxima var. coerulea ('Alexandra' x self)
This is a selfing of a relatively rare form of this variant. Probability is very high that it will bloom out a true blue-lavender. Plants are in 5 inch pots and two years from blooming, $30.

Cattleya skinneri x self
Native to  Central America.  It is found in southern Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras into El Salvador, Nicaragua and Costa Rica growing in wet montain forests from sea level to 1200 meters.    It grows on tree branches in open forests and is quite common in its native range.  These plants are 2 years away from blooming in 4.5 inch pots, $25; blooming size plant in 6 inch pot, $35.

Cattleya trianae x self
The normal colored form is the National Flower, of Colombia. This Cattleya species is a temperature tolerant epiphyte occurring in all 3 cordillera of Colombia. The large, fragrant, flower appears  in the winter.  These are young seedlings in 2 inch pots, $20.

  Cattleya walkeriana var. alba
The white form of this Brazilian species. The plant is a very compact and may only reach 6-8" in height at maturity. The large flowers, however, can be up to 4" or more in spread, and are sweetly fragrant as well. C. walkeriana flowers are almost always produced at the top of a leafless growth which, after blooming, looks like a small aborted pseudobulb.  This species has rambling habit, and is well-suited to basket or a mount culture. If it must be grown in a pot, a coarse medium must be used to compensate for the larger pots required to contain the growths. C. walkeriana generally blooms in late winter to early spring, but may bloom again in the fall with good culture.  Blooming size plant in 4 inch basket, $35.

Cattleya warneri var. alba
This species is native to Brazil and grows in lower elevations. Blooming size plant in  5 inch pot, $35.

  Epidendrum parkinsonianum

Epidendrum porpax

Epidendrum stamfordianum var. alba
These plants grow in hot to warm conditions and are native from Mexico to Colombia. The can flower in any season with spikes arising from the base of newly formed mature pseudobulbs.  This is the  green/white form. In 3.5 inch pot, $15.

Laelia anceps
A medium sized,  warm growing species from Mexico and Honduras is found as an epiphyte often in full sunlight.  Blooms autumn to spring with 3 to 6 scented, lavender, long-lasting flowers.  that needs a dry winter rest.    Blooming size plant in 5 inch pots for $30.

Laelia lobata var. coerulea 'Maria Christina' x self
Medium sized species has erect sprays of up to 5 large showy flowers which are more "frilly" than those of L. purpurata. A rare "blue" coerulea form has been used for this seedling batch.

A very desirable Brazilian species. Large lavender flowers, lip has trumpet shape with deep violet edges and a white throat. The arrangement of the flowers on the inflorescence is reminiscent of butterflies. Near blooming size plant in 4 inch pot, $25.
