Our collection of Masdevallia species and hybrids is grown in our intermediate greenhouse. Winter temperatures range from 58 degrees at night to the mid 70s during the day. Summer temperatures can rise as high as the mid 80s. Our potted Masdevallias are grown in a mixture of sphagnum moss, tree fern and large perlite. The majority of our plants are blooming size.
	Masdevallia Species
	Masdevallia coccinea The Latin translation of this Masdevallia's name is bright, deep red. However the large stately solitary flowers of this species can be quite variable in size and color. This grex is the red one. This can grow intermediate to cool but avoid heat stress during the during the blooming time which is late spring to early summer. In 2.5 inch pot, $22.
	Masdevallia glandulosa x sib. An intermediate growing, fragrant species from Ecuador and Peru. In 2.5 inch pot, $18.
	Masdevallia herradurae A warm to intermediate grower produces dark red flowers with pointed tales around the base of the plants. Very full blooming size plants in 2.5 inch pots, $18.
	Masdevallia nidifica Miniature warm to cool growing plants produce lots of flowers. Plants in 2.5 inch pots $20.
	Masdevallia princeps Dark amber colored flowers produced sequentially on this warm tolerant, fleshy plant. In 2 1/4 inch pots, $25.
	Masdevallia reginae This species is found in Peru. The flower is similar to M. princeps but slightly smaller.
	Masdevallia striatella A miniature plant produces tons of striped flowers. Grows at intermediate to warm temperatures. Blooming size plants in 3 inch pots $20.
	Masdevallia Hybrids
	Masdevallia Angel Tang (veitchiana 'Prince deGalle' AM/AOS x tonduzii 'Makawao') The tonduzii makes this yellow to orange hybrid warm tolerant. Blooming size plant in 2.5 inch pot, $15.
	Masdevallia (Charisma x decumana) Masd. Charisma is strongly striped purple so the offspring should also be striped. In 2.5 inch pot, $15.
	Masdevallia Confetti (strobelii x glandulosa) This is a remake of a very popular, fragrant hybrid. In 2.5 inch pot, $15.
	Masdevallia Glowing Embers (Copper Angel 'Highland' AM/AOS x calura) This warm tolerant hybrid produces yellow to red flowers on tall stems. Blooming size plant in 2.5 inch pot, $15.
	Masdevallia Gold Dust (veitchiana 'Prince deGalle' AM/AOS x rex) Large yellow to gold flowers on tall stems. Blooming size plant in 2.5 inch pot, $15.
	Masdevallia Hampshire Prolific (Copper Angel x floribunda) As the name implies this is a very floriferous hybrid, which produces lots of burnt orange flowers. Blooming size plant in 2.5 inch pot, $15.
	Masdevallia Huayna Picchu (veitchiana x princeps) These flowers will be large and cinnamon-red in color and on tall stems. The princeps will impart a lot of substance to the flower and warm tolerance. In 2 1/4 inch pots $22.
	Masdevallia Inca Snow (coccinea v. alba 'Snowbird' AM/AOS x constricta) The constricta parent contributes warm tolerance to this hybrid. In 2.5 inch pot, $15.
	Masdevallia Ken Dole (coccinea v. alba 'Snowbird; AM/AOS x tonduzii 'Makawao') The tonduzii parent makes this hybrid warm tolerant and easy to grow. Even small plants produce lots of flowers. Blooming size plant in 2.5 inch pot, $15
	Masdevallia Machu Picchu (ayabacana x coccinea) These are brightly colored well shaped flowers on tall influoresces. In 2.5 inch pot, $18.
	Masdevallia Maui Prince (tonduzii x princeps) These flowers will be a soft golden color with mild striping and have long caudae. They are warm tolerant, in 2 1/4 inch pot, $22.
	Masdevallia (Maui Sunset 'Tangerine'x calura) Orange to red flowers on tall spikes, plants are very warm tolerant. Blooming size plants in 2.5 inch pot, $15.
	Masdevallia Peach Fuzz (urosalpinx x constricta) x veitchiana This warm tolerant hybrid is very easy to grow and bloom. In 2.5 inch pot, $15.
	Masdevallia (tonduzii 'Makawao' x mendozae '#1') These plants will be extremely warm tolerant producing striped flowers. Blooming size plant in 2.5 inch pot.
	Masdevallia (triangularis x Pat Akehurst) Stripes crossed with stripes on triangular shaped, orange flowers. Blooming size plant in 2.5 inch pot, $15.
	Masdevallia veitchiana 'Prince de Galle AM/AOS x Maui Gold 'Canary' Large bright orange flowerso on small plant. In 2.5 inch pot $15.
	Masdevallia vergasii x triangularis More stripes on a warm tolerant plant. In 2.5 inch pot, $15.
