Our collection of Masdevallia species and hybrids is grown in our intermediate greenhouse. Winter temperatures range from 58 degrees at night to the mid 70s during the day. Summer temperatures can rise as high as the mid 80s. Our potted Masdevallias are grown in a mixture of sphagnum moss, tree fern and large perlite. The majority of our plants are blooming size.
	Masdevallia Species
	Masdevallia herradurae A warm to intermediate grower produces dark red flowers with pointed tales around the base of the plants. Very full blooming size plants in 2.5 inch pots, $18.
	Masdevallia nidifica Miniature warm to cool growing plants produce lots of flowers. Plants in 2.5 inch pots $20.
	Masdevallia princeps Dark amber colored flowers produced sequentially on this warm tolerant, fleshy plant. In 2 1/4 inch pots, $25.
	Masdevallia reginae This species is found in Peru. The flower is similar to M. princeps but slightly smaller.
	Masdevallia striatella A miniature plant produces tons of striped flowers. Grows at intermediate to warm temperatures. Blooming size plants in 3 inch pots $20.
	Masdevallia Hybrids
	Masdevallia Angel Tang (veitchiana 'Prince deGalle' AM/AOS x tonduzii 'Makawao') The tonduzii makes this yellow to orange hybrid warm tolerant. Blooming size plant in 2.5 inch pot, $15.
	Masdevallia Confetti (strobelii x glandulosa) This is a remake of a very popular, fragrant hybrid. In 2.5 inch pot, $15.
	Masdevallia Hampshire Prolific (Copper Angel x floribunda) As the name implies this is a very floriferous hybrid, which produces lots of burnt orange flowers. Blooming size plant in 2.5 inch pot, $15.
	Masdevallia Huayna Picchu (veitchiana x princeps) These flowers will be large and cinnamon-red in color and on tall stems. The princeps will impart a lot of substance to the flower and warm tolerance. In 3 inch pots $25.
	Masdevallia Inca Snow (coccinea v. alba 'Snowbird' AM/AOS x constricta) The constricta parent contributes warm tolerance to this hybrid. In 2.5 inch pot, $15.
	Masdevallia Ken Dole (coccinea v. alba 'Snowbird; AM/AOS x tonduzii 'Makawao') The tonduzii parent makes this hybrid warm tolerant and easy to grow. Even small plants produce lots of flowers. Blooming size plant in 2.5 inch pot, $15
	Masdevallia Machu Picchu (ayabacana x coccinea) These are brightly colored well shaped flowers on tall influoresces. In 2.5 inch pot, $18.
