Paphiopedilums
are among the most popular orchids in cultivation today. From Asia,
temperate Europe, North, Central and South America, come the slipper
orchids, whose dominant characteristic is a large lower petal shaped
like a slipper hence the common names, slipper orchids, and lady
slippers. We have placed all hybrids with a Brachypedilum or Parvisepalum
as a parent in the Brachy/Parvi list. The Complex/Other group includes
the "Standards and ones that don't fit in the other three
categories. Click on the buttons to the left to jump to the sections
containing those types of Paphiopedilums.
