Paph. Magic Lantern AM/AOS 'Parkside'
The Paphs in Greenhouse #5 are growing like weeds, and I thought you might like to see some of the plants that will be blooming in the spring. The picture above labeled "Complex Bench" show some of the new hybrids that have been potted up into 4.5 inch pots. They are growing extremely well and should bloomed in the spring. The picture labeled Multifloral 1 shows Paph. philippinense var. roebellinii on the left and huge multi-growth plants of Gary Romagna x sanderianum on the right both in 5 inch Pots. The photo Multi-floral 2 shows Lefty Kei which is William Ambler cross that has produced some very dark colored flowers. The Parvi-Brachy  bench has many new and remakes of old hybrids. The inventory has been expanded just recently. We got in so many new species that they now take up one whole bench. It is repotting time for a lot of the paphs in this greenhouse. The Paph. rothschildianum 'Green Valley' x 'Dou Fang' have been growing like crazy and not are being potted up from 4 inch pots to 5 inch. Multi-floral 3 shows the bench of roth species and some new hybrids recently added to the inventory. And lastly Multifloral 4 shows the bench of Hsinying Lady Duck, Monsoon Temptation, Saint Swithin, Kemp Tower etc. Finally the Paph. Magic Lantern 'Parkside' was awarded an AM/AOS at Summer Orchid Fest this year. It has one of the most unusual tesselation patterns we have ever seen. The judges thought so too.

If you are at all interested in the things pictured above, it would behoove you to buy them at this time when they are easier to ship. During the blooming season, the weather can be uncooperative. If you have any questions, I would love to talk to you about our inventory. Drop me and email.
